Cricketing Success For Leytonstone Mosque CC
Over 25 Young People represented Leytonstone Mosque CC in the Youth Cricket Festival on Sunday 14th April 2019. The Festival saw over 100 Young People take part in 3 competitions: Under 9s (U9s), Under 12s (U12s) and Under 15s (U15s). Leytonstone Masjid entered teams into all 3 categories, and each team was successful on the day. The U9s returned home victorious after winning the trophy during a super over. The U15s were runners up in their competition and the Under 12s, who were the defending champions from last years Youth Cricket Festival came in third place.
Irfan Bagas (Leytonstone Mosque CC Co-ordinator) praised the performance of the young cricketers and the “fantastic multi faith cricket tournament. Well Done to Everyone Involved!”. The Youth Cricket Festival was sponsored by Capital Kids Cricket and Club Cricket Academy, in association with the National Cricket League and other organisations.
