Central Moon Sighting Committee have announced the moon has been sighted in Saudi Arabia, so the Islamic Month of Dhul Hijjah has begun.

We need to reduce plastic this Ramadhan
In an effort to reduce plastic waste, Leytonstone Masjid will no longer be handing out free water bottles during Taraweeh. We have installed a new water bottle filling station, and are encouraging worshippers to bring their own reusable water bottles from home.
Ramadhan Announcement
The Central Moon Sighting Committee UK have reported that the moon has not been sighted. The first day of Ramadhan will be on Thursday 23rd March. The first Taraweeh will be on Wednesday 22nd March.
